Although I am knee deep in wedding edits at this time of year, I just wanted to share a commercial shoot that I did this Summer for This Old House Magazine. Being the owner of my own century old home, I have to admit that I love seeing cool old house fixes. This Old House Magazine ran a contest last March for a chance to win a yard makeover sponsored by Cub Cadet. Andrew Brodtman, owner and senior landscape designer of Twombly Nursey stepped in and really added some beauty to this charming antique in New Haven, Connecticut. The winners not only got a fantastic front yard redo but also a Cub Cadet prize package that included a Lawn tractor.

Our Photography Contest Featured in “The Bride’s Blog”

The Bride’s Book has launched it’s new blog, most properly named “The Bride’s Blog”. I love this site. It could have something to do with my obsession with Charleston, South Carolina, even though I have not been there. It’s one of those places that I fantasize about moving to. The Bride’s Book is your go-to source for everything Charleston. They won the 2007 Gold Award for excellence-Hermes Creative International Award, as well as, Best New Magazine Category-2006 National APEX Award for Excellence in Publishing. With a growing readership of more than 160,000 they target today’s educated, affluent and contemporary bride. I am so thrilled that Courtney chose to highlight our Destination Photography Giveaway. Giving IS Awesome!

I’m featured in Rangefinder Magazine!

I got the most wonderful email from Dawn Davis last night. Apparently one of the other “Vegas Love Story” attendees wrote an article about the workshop and submit it to Rangefinder Magazine. Several of us were hoping to get some images to them, but I never figured that it would actually happen. Dawn’s blog post says it all. So, with her permission, I grabbed it to post here! Whoohoo!!! Bob and Dawn Davis are two of the most sincere people that I have ever met. If you are a photographer looking to hone your craft, I would recommend one of their workshops in a heartbeat. I’m so envious of the other attendees who live nearby Chicago because they are all meeting for dinners, seminars and working together. Networking is so cool! Here is Dawn’s Blog post:
