One of my absolute favorite weddings last year was the smallest affair that I’ve covered.  In fact, I didn’t even meet both bride & groom until moments before they walked down the aisle.  When Lexa called me to discuss her plans,  I realized that we connected in the most fundamental way.  Lexa is an amazing stylist for a huge household name designer and Eliot, her husband works in TV with an equally huge food network.  She described her wedding as taking place in “Gods Country”,  among ten guests and two beloved dogs.  This was literally the perfect marriage of my editorial still life and food photography with a couples’ need for wedding coverage.  What transpired was an elegant and intimate celebration.  I was both a guest and their photographer looking on quietly from the wings.  I was so honored to feel like a member of the family at such a beautiful event.  Somehow Lexa knew that I would “get it”.  Pure inspiration!  This celebration was totally stylin’ because of the lovely family and friends that were present, J. Crew Bridal, Felicity Banford Floral Design & Buffy from Babettes Kitchen.
